"HARMONY IN VICTORY" The 26th Sea Games Closing Ceremony

 

Palembang,19 November 2011– The 26th SEA Games 2011 season almost end, but it doesn’t mean the end of the spirit of brotherhood and togetherness among the ASEAN countries. As the spectacular opening ceremony show, INASOC also has been preparing another tantalizing show for the closing ceremony which will be held in the main stadium of Jakabaring Sports Complex, Palembang on 22 November 2011.
 Continuing the success of the opening ceremony, Indra Yudhistira Ramadhan -  the Deputy of Ceremony and Cultural Event DepartmentINASOC is promising that the closing will keep the ASEAN spirit in harmonious show. “Harmony in Victory would be the theme for the 26th SEA Games closing ceremony. It will intrepretes the emerging power of South East Asia nations symbolized by achievements ofour athletesin the game field and unification of various culture in harmony. We will perform colosal dance inspired by traditional dances from the South East Asia nations, the Myanmar cultural performance to give support for Myanmar as the next host for SEA Games 2013, and the farewell act to all participants,” Indra Yudhistira Ramadhan stated.
More than 600 dancers will perform in a series of choreography arranged by Sentot Sudiharto, a talented Indonesian artist. “Harmony in Victory” will be showing an enchanting art performance where dances collaboratewith special effects on electric canvas and lightings configuration.In the Farewell Act, four athletes from participatingcountries will take part of the performance to show their friendship in harmonious victory. List of Indonesian singers will be showing their best performance to celebrate the 26th SEA Games Closing Ceremony, such as Agnes Monica, Afgan, Giring ‘Nidji’, Sherina, Ello, Putri Ayu, Zanetta, Joy Tobing, Daniel Christanto, and Palembang based band Armada.

“We hope that what we have prepared for the closing ceremony could really bring the good memories of the glorious 26th SEA Games in Palembang. To keep the friendship in harmony and victory remains among the South East Asia countries. Indonesia would thank for the support which has been given during the SEA Games 2011 through this closing ceremony presentations,” Indra Yudhistira Ramadhan ended.
